ISLAMABAD: PTI leader and nominee for prime minister’s slot Omar Ayub on Tuesday announced that the party has nominated Amir Dogar as a candidate for National Assembly speakership while Junaid Khan for deputy speaker’s slot.
Talking to media men outside Adiala jail in Rawalpindi after meeting PTI founder Imran Khan, Omar Ayub said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will launch a protest campaign in and out of the parliament against the rigging in general elections.
He claimed that PTI will mobilize public and bring them to roads against rigging as their public mandate was stolen.
He claimed that during recounting in Lodhran constituency, PTI-supported winner candidate was defeated intentionally.
