Rostec says, Foreign Customers willing to buy Russia’s Su-57E fighter get

MOSCOW: On Monday, Rostec Director for International Cooperation and Regional Policy Viktor Kladov revealed that, “Foreign customers display high interest in the export version of Russia’s Su-57E fifth-generation fighter”.

While outlining the details he added that the full-size model of the Su-57E fighter will be demonstrated at the Aero India 2021 aerospace show that will run in the Indian city of Bangalore on February 3-5.

The fifth-generation fighter jet has been successfully tested in combat conditions in Syria. The Russian Armed Forces received the first Su-57 fighter in 2020.

The Su-57 is a fifth-generation multirole fighter designed to destroy all types of air, ground and naval targets.

Rostec Director commented on the expansion of foreign market for Su-57E saying that, “If we speak about the Su-57E, this aircraft evokes high interest in many countries because it features unique combat properties and flight characteristics. We see that there is the need for next-generation aircraft and there are both a market niche and pre-requisites for the delivery of this plane.”

Su-57 fighter jet features stealth technology with the broad use of composite materials.

 It is also capable of developing supersonic cruising speed and is equiped with the most advanced onboard radio-electronic equipment, including a powerful onboard computer (the so-called electronic second pilot), the radar system spread across its body and some other innovations, in particular, armament placed inside its fuselage.

Rostec Director notified that “the high export potential of Russia’s upgraded Mi-28NM combat helicopter”.

While expressing hopes for regarding export, he added “I am confident that foreign customers’ interest will be very high when this modification appears on export markets.”

The upgraded helicopter features the best flight characteristics in this class, the Rostec executive said.

Referring to the features weapons he highlighted that the Mi-28NM carries a larger arsenal of guided and unguided weapons, features an increased target detection and destruction range and advanced avionics that considerably simplifies the crew’s operation.

Su-57 took to the skies for the first time on January 29, 2010.

Su-57 became populate across the globe because of its extra ordinary features such as Su-57 mingle the functions of an attack plane and a fighter jet while the use of composite materials and innovation technologies and the fighter’s aerodynamic configuration ensure the low level of radar and infrared signature.

It should be known that the plane’s armament will include, in particular, hypersonic missiles.
