TTP’s wanted commander killed in Afghan infighting

ISLAMABAD: A wanted terrorist of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Rafiullah killed in Afghanistan amid infighting among different factions of TTP due to funds and positions within the militant organisation.

Outlawed TTP commander Rafiullah was killed in clashes among various factions.

Backed by NDS, ISIS and Baloch terrorist organizations, Rafiullah had kept his several code names including Wahab, Doctor and Ahmed Abdullah.

Rafiullah had been engaged in a number of terrorist activities since 2011. Rafiullah was the man behind transporting and facilitating suicide bombers in Pakistan.

He was facilitator of transporting Serena Hotel suicide bomber.

Besides this, Rafiullah also facilitated suicide bombers who blew themselves up at Civil Hospital Quetta and Serena Hotel in Islamabad.

The killed terrorist commander was the keyplayer behind of killings of Major Naeem, Inspector Kabir, Kuchlak bank robbery and attacks on FC in Chaman.

Pertinent to note that the militant’s death comes less than a month after the operational commander and the spokesperson of the TTP, Muhammad Khurassani, was killed in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.
