SHANGLA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) President, Amir Muqam won general elections from NA-11 Shangla while have to face defeat from NA-2 Swat-I.
As per unofficial results of all 346 polling stations of NA-11 Shangla issued by ROs and ECP, Amir Muqam stood victorious by securing 59,863 votes while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed independent candidate Syed Fareen managed to get 54,311 votes.
According to unofficial results of all 341 polling stations of NA-2 Swat-I, Amir Muqam was defeated as he secured 37,764 votes while independent candidate Amjad Ali Khan won the election by securing 88,938 votes.
