ISLAMABAD: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan has seized 3015.938 kg drugs and 795 Liter Prohibited Chemical in 29 operations under its campaign to across the country to curb the menace.
Th Force, during the operations, also arrested 32 accused persons including seven females and impounded six vehicles.
The seized drugs included 1937.116 Kg Hashish, 1015 Kg Morphine, 33.806 Kg Heroin, 4.015 Kg Amphetamine (Ice), 3.1 Kg Marijuana, 1.7 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice), 1.037 Kg Cocaine, 1260 Xanax Tablets, 20 Kg Suspected Substance and 795 Liter HCL.
As per details issued here on Thursday, in an intelligence based operation, ANF Quetta intercepted an unattended Toyota Pickup Single Cabin from general area of Killi Kala Chah, Tehsil Dalbandin, District Chaghi and recovered 1015 Kg Morphine from the said vehicle.
In another operation, ANF Quetta arrested Syed Amjad Ali Shah, resident of Gujrat and his lady accomplice namely Khadija Bibi, resident of Gujranwala at Quetta International Airport and recovered 1.7 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice) which was concealed in their luggage.
Both were travelling to Saudi Arabia via Dubai. In third operation, ANF Quetta intercepted a Tractor Trolley at Western Bypass Road near Khaizi Chowk, Quetta and recovered 500 Kg Hashish from the said vehicle. Resultantly an accused namely Hayat Ullah, resident of Quetta was arrested during the operation.
In fourth operation, ANF Quetta arrested an accused namely Syed Amir Muhammad, resident of Quetta and recovered four Kg Amphetamine (Ice) from his personal possession. He was arrested from Judicial Complex, Killi Sanzar Khelan, Tehsil Kuchlak, Quetta.
In fifth operation, ANF Quetta raided near General Area of Tora Boara Mountains, District Chaghi and recovered 795 Lits HCL.
In sixth operation, ANF Quetta intercepted a water tanker from village Karwat, Coastal Highway, Gwadar and recovered 1380 Kg Hashish from the said vehicle.
ANF Rawalpindi recovered four Kg Hashish from personal possession of a lady, resident of Attock. She was arrested near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, main GT Road, Attock.
Yet in another operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested Sardar Azam, resident of Peshawar and recovered five Kg Hashish from his personal possession.
He was arrested near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, main GT Road Attock.
In third operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested a lady accused namely Sana Bibi, resident of Peshawar and recovered five Kg Heroin from her personal possession. She was arrested near Hattian Bus Stop, Attock.
In fourth operation, ANF Rawalpindi recovered two Kg Hashish and 15 Gram Amphetamine (Ice) from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Irfan Ullah,resident of Peshawar.
He was arrested near Tarnol Railway Crossing, GT Road, Islamabad.
In fifth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused namely Shahid Khan, resident of Peshawar and recovered 2.4 Kg Hashish from his personal possession.
He was arrested near Jangi Sayedan Bus Stop, GT Road, Attock.
In sixth operation, ANF Rawalpindi recovered 500 Gram Heroin from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Pervaiz Khan, resident of Charsadda.
He was arrested near Sangjani Toll Plaza, GT Road, Islamabad.
In seventh operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested Muhammad Ijaz Khan, resident of Bannu at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 966 Gram Hashish which was concealed in peanuts located in his travelling bag. He was travelling to Dubai through Flight No. PA-210.
In eighth operation, ANF Rawalpindi recovered 500 Gram Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused identified as Mehran, resident of Peshawar.
He was arrested from Chungi No. 26 Bus Stop, Islamabad.
In ninth operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a Mehran car at T Chowk, GT Road, Rawat and recovered 1.680 Kg Heroin which was concealed in three Leather Jackets lying on back seat of the said vehicle. Resultantly two accused namely Shah Rukh Khan and Muhammad Hafiz both residents of Rawalpindi were arrested.
In tenth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested two ladies namely Sameen Akhtar, resident of Charsadda and Parveen Akhtar, resident of Peshawar at Tarkai Toll Plaza, Main GT Road, Jehlum and recovered 2.2 Kg Hashish from their personal possession.
In eleventh operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused identified as Fazal Bari, resident of Diamer and recovered 660 Gram Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested at Mohallah Sakarkoi, Gilgit.
In twelfth operation, ANF Rawalpindi recovered 2.4 Kg Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Aman Ullah, resident of Peshawar. He was arrested near Chungi No 26 Bus Stop, Islamabad.
In thirteenth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested two accused identified as Soorat Khan and Shah Hayat Khan both resident of Khyber Agency and recovered 2.4 Kg Hashish from their personal possession. Both were arrested near Chungi No 26 Bus Stop, Islamabad.
In another operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested lady accused namely Kausar Younis, resident of Mirpur, Azad Kashmir at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 13.126 Kg Heroin which was concealed in 12 Rexene sheets kept in her travelling bag. She was proceeding to Vienna through Flight No. QR-633.
ANF Lahore arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ashraf, resident of Hangu at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore and recovered 1.590 Kg Hashish which was concealed in his bag. He was boarding for Qatar by flight no. WY-342.
In another operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Honda Civic car from parking area of Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore and recovered 3.1 Kg Marijuana and 1.037 Kg Cocaine which was concealed in 3 trolley bags.
The recovered drugs was smuggled from Canada. Resultantly three accused identified as Khizar Muhammad Sherazi, resident of Canada, Touseef and Danial Anjum both residents of Lahore were arrested during the operation.
In third operation, ANF Lahore recovered 4 Kg Hashish near COD Chowk, Chak No 30/10-R Kacha Khooh, Khanewal. The Hashish was dumped in bushes.
ANF Peshawar raided at house near Gulbahar No 4, Muslim Town, Bostan Road, Peshawar and recovered 9 Kg Heroin and 20 Kg two types of suspicious substances white and brown colour. Resultantly an accused namely Waqas Khan, resident of Peshawar was arrested during the operation.
In another operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Nisar Ahmed and his lady accomplice namely Rafia Bibi both residents of Narowal and recovered 2.4 Kg Hashish from their personal possession. Both were arrested near Motorway Toll Plaza, Peshawar when they were travelling in passenger van.
In third operation, ANF Peshawar conducted a raid at Peshawar Lahore Goods, Haji Camp Adda, Peshawar and recovered 21.6 Kg Hashish which was concealed in two Almirah.
In fourth operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Taimoor Khan, resident of Peshawar at Peshawar International Airport and recovered 1260 Xanax tablets (weighing 164 Gram) which was concealed in 3 bottles.
The accused was boarding for Jeddah through flight No. SV-797.
ANF Karachi arrested an accused identified as Gul Khan, resident of Quetta and recovered five Kg Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested near PSO petrol pump, Indus Chorangi, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi.
In another operation, ANF Karachi intercepted a Cultus car near Daewoo Bus Terminal, Super Highway, Karachi recovered 3 Kg Heroin from the said vehicle and arrested an accused namely Malik Zia Ud Din, resident of Karachi.
Moreover, on pointation of arrested accused ANF Karachi conducted a raid at Flat, near NIPA Chorangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi and recovered 1.5 Kg Heroin.
Resultantly an accused namely Abdul Qadir, resident of Karachi was arrested.
The above mentioned operations were conducted in last week and all cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are underway.
