ARCS deputy president meets Italian ambassador for Afghanistan

KABUL (Agencies): Deputy President of Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) Mullah Nuruddin Torabi and his accompanying delegation met with Italian Ambassador for Afghanistan Natalia Quintavalle and talked about humanitarian issues in Afghanistan.
According to a statement from ARCS, the meeting was held in Doha, Qatar where the two sides conferred on current challenges in Afghanistan and sought solutions to them.
Deputy President of ARCS Mullah Nooruddin Turabi appreciated Italy for its recent humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and spoke about the problems and humanitarian needs of the Afghan people, the treatment of children suffering from heart defects, and some other health-related matters.
Ms. Natalia Quintavalle pledged her country’s comprehensive cooperation with the Afghan Red Crescent Society in delivering humanitarian assistance to underprivileged individuals in Afghanistan.
According to another report, Deputy President of ARCS Mullah Nuruddin Torabi, and his accompanying delegation met with the British Ambassador for Afghanistan Robert Chatterton Dickson in Doha.
Deputy President of ARCS Mullah Nuruddn Torabi while acknowledging the support of the British government for the Afghan people, requested cooperation with the Afghan Red Crescent Society in supplying humanitarian resources for Afghans.
British Ambassador to Afghanistan Robert Dixon has assured of his country’s cooperation with the ARCS in the field of support for communities currently struggling with various forms of challenges.
