Addressing to a press conference in Landi Kotal press club last day City Mayor Haji Shah Khalid flanked by number of village and neighborhood councils chairmen said that Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA)have introduced an APP for rain affectees to file their damaged on line that will verify a team of expertise that so far haven’t visit to the area.

He expressed his dissatisfaction over the downpour damages data collection method, formulated by the PDMA and said majority of the rain affected persons would have failed to fulfill the criteria of PDMA.

It was ironic that 36 village and neighborhood council’s chairmen and secretaries had been ignored in the rain damages data collection process, he added and said that due to complication in the procedure rain affected persons would be deprived of government financial assistance.

He came hard on Deputy Commissioner, Khyber and said the responsible official even did not pay visit to the disastrous areas and the local administration comprised only two teams to collect rain affectees data, contrary to the PDMA Standard Operation Procedure (SoP) equivalent to ridicule of rain affectees and deprive them of compensation.

He demanded of the provincial government, PDMA and district administration officials to ease data collection process and forthwith dispatched teams to assemble damages records before deadline.
