Court extended judicial remand of Mufti Qavi in Qandeel Baloch murder case

MULTAN: A session court judge extended judicial remand by six more days of Mufti Abdul Qavi on Tuesday in the Qandeel Baloch murder case.

As per details, the Mufti Qavi was presented before the judicial magistrate after his bail was rejected and the court has asked the police to submit a charge-sheet in the case on November 13.

Mufti Qavi is the prime accused in the murder case of Qandeel Baloch and as per the police, he informed during his physical remand that he has ties with the person who drove the suspects in the murder and owner of the house where Qandeel Baloch lived and later she was murdered in the same house.

Qavi was arrested on October 18 after his bail was rejected by the court and police also conducted Qavi’s polygraph test in Lahore.

Parents of Qandeel Baloch blamed Mufti Qavi for their daughter’s murder and adding that he instigated her brother to murder her on the name of honor.
