Court indicts Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder-chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were indicted in the Toshakhana case during proceedings held inside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

The Accountability Court conducted the hearing in the Toshakhana and Al-Qadir Trust corruption cases.

 today. The Accountability Court, conducting the proceedings at Adiala Jail, had to postpone the charges on Monday due to Bushra Bibi’s absence, rescheduling it for today.

During the hearing, copies of the Al-Qadir Trust case were provided to Bushra Bibi.

AC Judge Muhammad Basheer pronounced the indictment. The accused pleaded not guilty after hearing the charge-sheet.

During the hearing, Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, PTI founder’s sisters were present in the court.

Imran Khan’s lawyers and a large number of media men were also present in the courtroom.

NAB Deputy Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi was also present in the court.
