SARGODHA (APP) : In a crackdown against gas pilferage, the special teams of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) cut off connections and got 24 cases registered against gas pilferers in the division.
Talking to APP here on Sunday, SNGPL Regional Manager Umar Hayat said that SNGPL teams conducted raids at 553 localities in the region and caught 24 people red-handed while pilfering gas worth Rs 1.2 million.
He said that gas connections of domestic and commercial were being checked through Line Locator to check the pilferage.
Citizens could contact Regional Manager SNGPL office number 048-3224401 to inform regarding gas pilferage and the name of informer would be kept secret, he added.
