HAFIZABAD: The police have smashed three inter-district gangs of dacoits, burglars, bike snatchers and cattle-lifters and have arrested fourteen of its members including ring leaders. The police claimed to have recovered 12 bikes, 14 heads of cattle, large number of cell phones, gold ornaments and cash amount of millions of rupees.
One of the gangs (Qaisaroo gangs) was also involved in the murder one of its own accomplice Tasawar in the recent past.
Those arrested of Qaisaroo gang including Qaisar, Shahid and Zahid. The police arrested Muhammad Hussain, Imtiaz, Shahid, Ansar and Zulfiqar of Muhammad Hussain gang. Moreover, the police have arrested Shafqat, Israr, Shahid, Auranzaib, Shahid Hussain and Qaisar of Israroo gang. All the three gang members were involved in dozen of cases in Hafizabad, Gujranwala and other districts of the Punjab.
