Diagnosis and treatment of diseases: Medical Council develops national strategy

KABUL (BNA): The Medical Council of Afghanistan (MSA) is developing a national strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases that will be in line with international standards in the country’s health sector.
According to a statement released by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Gul Mohammad Osman, the Chairman of this council, stated in a meeting with Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, that they working to establish a national solution in the field of disease diagnosis and treatment that is aligned with globally accepted standards in the country’s medical sector.
Dr. Osman continued that the Medical Council is actively working to standardize the country’s medical sector, and that regular inspections of hospitals and health centers have resulted in tremendous improvement.
Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi praised the Medical Council’s measures and activities, underlining their dedication to provide improved services to Afghans in all areas, particularly the health sector.
