F.P. Report

SWABI: Former speaker of the National Assembly and PTI leader Asad Qaiser’s electoral difficulties have increased as an objection has been raised to his nomination papers from National Assembly constituency NA 19, on Saturday.

Former PTI district general secretary Yousuf Ali raised the objection to the nomination papers of former National Assembly speaker at the office of Swabi’s returning officer Muhammad Ali Shah.

He said that Asad Qaiser violated the constitution. He also presented Supreme Court’s decision to the RO.

The objector attached the additional note of Supreme Court Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Mian Khel along with the application. He also submitted the copy of the ruling signed by Asad Qaiser to the RO.

It is pertinent to mention here that Yousuf Ali himself is a National Assembly seat NA-19 candidate.
