FIFA World Cup trophy arrives in Lahore

LAHORE: A ceremony was held in Lahore to unveil and present the FIFA World Cup trophy in a local hotel in Lahore on Tuesday.

FIFA trophy arrived in Pakistan this morning. Christian Karembeu, former French Footballer, brought the trophy to Pakistan from Uzbekistan.

The trophy will stay here for a day.

In the ceremony, secretary PIO Khalid Mehmood, Punjab Secretary Sports Asad Ullah and Hajra Khan from women football team also participated.

Coca Cola Vice President Fahad Ashraf addressing to the ceremony said, “We are a happy that we are hosting the FIFA trophy for the second consecutive year.”
