SIALKOT: Firdous Ashiq Awan, a prominent leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), has found herself in legal trouble after a video surfaced on social media, allegedly showing her assaulting a policeman at a polling station in Sialkot. The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, during the elections.
The Sialkot Sadar police have taken action, registering a case against Firdous Ashiq Awan based on a complaint filed by ASI Amjad. The FIR states that Awan allegedly misbehaved with and slapped a policeman who was on duty at Government High School Gana Kalan in Sialkot NA 70.
