LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan reacted on Saturday to the arrest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief in the Toshakhana case.
Speaking to media, Firdous rebuked the PTI chief, saying, “The PTI chief used to tell me that there was no sacred cow in the country. I want to tell the PTI chief that no one is above the law in the country.”
“The bad consultations have destroyed the PTI’s politics. Former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar should also be behind bars,” she added.
“Not a single PTI worker went to Zaman Park to protest against the arrest of the PTI chief. Today, the idol of pride has been broken as corruption has been proven in the Toshakhana case,” added Firdous. (NNI)
