ISLAMABAD: Tariq Malik has again been appointed as the new chairman of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).
The federal cabinet gave the approval of the appointment in its meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The decision was announced by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain at a news conference after the federal cabinet meeting.
It may be mentioned here that Tariq Malik had also served as Nadra’s chairman during the last PPP government. He had resigned from his post in January 2014.
