Heirs of slain MPA and his aides demand arrest of the killers

TIMERGARA:  Heirs of the slain former MPA Malik Hasham Khan and his aides on Sunday complained that police were badly failed to arrest their killers despite the passage of 40 days.

Speaking at a news conference at Ouch here Malik Shah Zaman Khan, Malik Sanaullah, Malik Nizar Khan and others said that former MPA Malik Hasham Khan and his two aides were killed in the broad day light at Shah Alam Baba on Sep, 14 but the accused were still at large.

The late Malik Hasham Khan was elected as MPA on the ticket of PML-N in the past but in 2009 he had joined the JUI-F and then onward he was a close aide of Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, the present provincial chief of the JUI-F. The heirs of the slain persons said they were too felt insecurity as the police had badly failed to arrest the killers. They demanded of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and inspector general of police to take notice of the matter and direct the Lower Dir police to arrest the nominated accused in the triple murder case so that families of the slain persons could take a sigh of relief.

They also sought help from the operational forces of Pakistan army to cooperate with local police in arresting the accused.
