LRH organized BLS course for nurses

PESHAWAR: Basic Life Support training was conducted in Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar as certificates were distributed among nurses of the hospital on the completion of the training program.

According to the Public Relation Officer of LRH Zulfiqar Ali Babakhel said that LRH is the biggest hospital of the province where modern Nursing Lab has been installed for the first in the province.

He further said that in the Nursing Lab not only the hospital nurses were getting training in the facility but as well as other hospital nurses were trained.

On the occasion Hospital director Dr. Khalid Masood said that LRH is more focusing on the training of nurses because they were the first one to receive patients and they were important part to the lives of patients.

Nursing director Shaheen Ghani said that BLS course is very important for nurses and especially in LRH because most of the time LRH face bomb blast victims and BLS course is very important in first aid training.

She further added that the course will enable the nurses and improve their professional skills, adding that the course will save many lives in the coming future.

On the occasion BLS course participant’s nurses while sharing their experience said that the course will improve their professional skills and they will provide better care to the patients especially in trauma and accident emergency department.
