TANK: A man killed four members of his family including wife, two daughters and a son before shooting himself dead in Tank district on Tuesday. Police said, the man named Syed Rasool who was a jeweler by profession killed his wife, two daughters and a son and then took his own life around 06:00 am at his house in Qaziyano Muhalla.
Two other children were also shot at and injured and shifted to a hospital for medical attention. Police said the family members were asleep when Syed Rasool shot dead his wife, Haleema Bibi, son Suleman (18), Sobia (20), Umera (13) while 11 year Usman sustained critical bullet wounds. Police further said quoting the neighbors that Syed Rasool owed millions of rupees to people and was passing through extreme mental stress which today led him to the killing of his innocent family members. A case was registered at the police station concerned. Police added they were investigating the incident from different aspects to ascertain any other reason for killing of the five people.
