NAB recovers Rs.14 million assets from GPO official

PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recovered assets worth Rs.14 million from convict Nuzhat Begum in Accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income.
As per details, NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa formally filed a reference in the Accountability Court Peshawar after completion of investigation against Mst. Nuzhat Begum Ex Postal Clerk GPO Peshawar for accumulation of assets worth in Millions. During investigation it was revealed that accused has accumulated huge assets worth Millions of rupees through corruption and corrupt practices which are disproportionate to her known legal sources of income.
Worthy Accountability Court found her guilty and imposed approx. Rs.14 fine with 7 years Rigorous Imprisonment.
Recovery Cell NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recovered assets after conducting formal process as per law including one home, 02 x Kanal plots, one 10 Marla and one 10 Marla home.
