PESHAWAR: The ousted premier and chief of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif will address a party rally near the motorway toll plaza in Peshawar on Sunday.
Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz, Ameer Muqam will also address the rally. It will be the first of Maryam address in Peshawar in her political career.
More than a thousand police personnel are deployed at the site of the rally, where scores of PML-N supporters from the province as well as Islamabad have arrived.
All the preparations for the rally have been completed and fool-proof security has been ensured in the area.
At present, the former premier is at the residence of provincial party president Amir Muqam after landing in Peshawar from Lahore.
Nawaz Sharif in his last address to a public gathering in Jaranwala, said that PML-N will win in the 2018 general election.
