ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported 462 new coronavirus cases along with q virus-related deaths during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 2 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 30,309, which represents a ratio of 2.0 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan reaches 1.48 percent, as 462 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 31,201. It takes the total cases tally to 1,519,154.
The number of active cases in the country is 18,023 with 577 patients in critical condition.
There were 398 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 1,470,822 with a 96.8% recovery rate.
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 129 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 503,844 with 3,164 active cases. In Punjab, there were no new deaths reported related to the deadly disease as the death toll remained 13,538. With 305 new recoveries reported, 487,142 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh has recorded 188 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 572,042 with 12,155 active cases. There were no new deaths reported related to the deadly disease as the death toll in Sindh remained 8,091. With no new recovery reported, 551,796 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 110 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 218,180 with 2,091 active cases. The province reported 1 new virus-related death as the death toll reached 6,301. With 73 new recoveries, 209,788 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan recorded 1 new case as the tally reached 35,438 with 57 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll remained 377. With 12 new recoveries, 35,004 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad has recorded 19 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 134,837 with 316 active cases. With 1 new death reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll reached 1,021. With 34 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 133,500 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir recorded 10 new cases during the last 24 hours as the tally reached 43,177 with 101 active cases. With no new deaths reported, the death toll remained 790. There were 22 new recoveries in the AJK as 42,286 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 5 new cases during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 11,636 with 139 active cases. With no new death reported in the province, the death toll remains at 191. With no new patients recovered, the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 11,306.
