Pakistan will continue to highlight Kashmir issue at international fora: Barjees

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir says Pakistan will continue to highlight the Kashmir issue and Indian atrocities against innocent Kashmiri people.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said Pakistan will continue to extend political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiri brethren with the same passion.

He said 27th October is observed as a “Black Day” and the purpose to mark the day is to expose the human rights violations in the held valley and to remind the world body of the just right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people as pledged with them in the UN resolutions on Kashmir.

Chaudhry Barjees Tahir said the government has prepared a comprehensive programme to mark the “Black Day” at the provincial and district level to shed light on Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.

He said rallies to lodge strong protest against the Indian gratuitous violence on Kashmiri people will also be taken out with zeal and fervor.  The Minister said our foreign missions will also highlight the Kashmir issue on the occasion.
