PM addressed sense of deprivation among tribal people: Ajmal Wazir

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s spokesman Ajmal Khan Wazir Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the sense of deprivation among tribal people by making various announcements during his addresses to public gatherings in Bajaur and Mohmand districts.

Talking to media he said that Sehat Insaf Card was one of the big incentives announced by the Premier, adding that each tribal family would get the facility of getting medical care upto Rs 72,000 at any panel hospital across the country.

He said that in other districts of the province the card was given to only deserving families while on the directives of Prime Minister the card would be given to each and every family in all merged districts.

Ajmal said that tribal people were having sense of deprivation from a long time because they were not compensate as much as they had rendered sacrifices for the sake of motherland.

He said PTI government under the leadership of Prime Minister was committed to remove this sense of deprivation by initiating various development projects and bringing those areas at par with settle areas.

To a question he said 270,000 officials of Levy and Khasadar were facing problems after the merger of erstwhile FATA into KP, adding that KP government got an ordinance passed to secure their jobs and now the PM has announced to merged them into KP Police that would permanently resolve their concerns.

He said that the other projects as announced by the Prime Minister including setting up of vocational centres in merged areas, construction of sports complexes, promotion of tourism, construction of small industrial zones and others would bring prosperity in merged districts and would change the lives of the people.
