PM’s seat is heating up, and whoever sits will burn: Adil

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Haleem Adil Sheikh, the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Sindh, and a former leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly, appeared before the antiterrorism court.

The case hearing was postponed by the court until March 9. Speaking to the media, Sheikh said, “I have appeared in court today, six months later, in my car from outside.” I was transported in a special jail van to Central Jail where I spent six months as a state guest.

He stated that today’s case dates back to May 25, 2022, and that I was neither nominated or identified in the charge sheet. I wasn’t in the city that day. After my prior bail grant, I was arrested in this case, imprisoned for many days, and then given bail.

Haleem stated that I am grateful to the people of Karachi and Hyderabad, as well as everyone of Pakistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has received a mandate from the inhabitants of Karachi and Hyderabad. He stated that we secured 20 NA seats in Karachi and 2 NA seats in Hyderabad, as well as 38 Provincial Assembly seats under Form 45. He said my constituency is NA-238, and I received 84,000 votes. He stated that we have Form-45s for all 292 polling stations ready at my office. He thanked Jamaat-e-Islami for their important political contribution. He stated that the PTI receives the most votes in Karachi, with Jamaat-e-Islami coming in second. The people have chosen us as their representatives.

All of these seats are officially ours. He said that starting today, we will begin thanking the public in all Karachi constituencies.

We cannot fulfill the obligation owed to the people of Sindh.

Adil stated that those who attempted to depose Imran Khan are now buried. He claimed that the stolen regimes of the PPP, PML-N, and MQM will be political tombs. We await justice from the courts; justice will prevail. He declared that all corrupt ROs would be held accountable in court. He stated that Pakistani young had cast their ballots, mourning that they have been stolen. Pakistan’s fate has passed from the people’s hands to corrupt returning officers.

He said we anticipate resolution of our pending cases in the Election Commission. The Election Commission has submerged itself.

He said upon the announcement of results according to Form 45, political stability will ensue. He said that figures like Ali Zaidi, who left Imran Khan, will never be accepted by the party again. Lawyers have seen distress; workers have endured hardship; they are Imran Khan’s heroes. (PPI)
