NAWABSHAH: Nawabshah police arrested an infamous dacoit wanted to police in 19 cases registered against him in different police stations of the district since year 2008.
The police claimed that the dacoit identified as Sabir alias Sota was arrested after an encounter in injured condition. Police said the dacoit was encountered by airport police when he was looting vehicles along with accomplices. Police recovered one pistol of 30 bore and live rounds from his possession.
The case of the crime was registered against him in the year 2008 and later two more cases were registered in the same year.
Police registered three cases against the dacoit in 2009, one case in 2010, one more in 2011, five cases in 2012, two cases in 2013, one in 2017 and two cases in the current year. In another police action, police arrested one absconder from the jurisdiction of Daur Police station. He was identified as Mushtaque Brohi.
