Saif congratulates PTI workers over success in re-poll

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has congratulated the PTI workers on the excellent success and performance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the re-poll results.

Addressing a special press conference at the Itla Cell, Directorate of Information and Public Relations on Monday. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Barrister Saif said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has conducted the first phase of local body elections in a very professional manner. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vote bank has further expanded after the first round of local body elections. He said that with yesterday’s re-poll, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has again come to the winning position as the success in the re-poll became possible due to the unity of the workers.

Mentioning the success of the party in Dera Ismail Khan, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Barrister Saif said that with the public power, big political towers have been demolished in Dera Ismail Khan. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami and Pakistan Peoples Party had already made big claims but the public decided in favor of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf.

He added, PTI has also planted flags of victory in Karak, Bannu and Bajaur. He said that after December 19, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has gained momentum again as PTI workers fought unitedly in the re-poll. The PTI still has the largest vote bank in the province.

Referring to the independent candidates in the first phase of local body elections, Special Assistant for Information Barrister Saif said that Tehsil Mayors are in touch with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and it is hoped that a large number of independent candidates will join hands with PTI.

He said that PTI voters are united and will win the second phase as public confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has increased manifold.. Today, the workers are celebrating the success of PTI in the re-poll.

He said that he hoped that PTI would be in the forefront when the final results come out. He furthered, all workers deserve special credit.
