PESHAWAR: Director Peshawar Zoo informed two-member bench comprising of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Syed Arshad Ali that Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) has been appointed in the zoo for treatment and care of animals, on Wednesday.
During hearing Chief Justice PHC Justice Qaiser directed Director Peshawar Zoo to submit detail report regarding animals and also mortalities in the zoo in last six months.
Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid also directed to submit report on animals which are not adoptable to the environment in the Peshawar Zoo.
The two-member bench of Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Syed Arshad Ali adjourned further hearing till 17 June.
