Steps for arrest of Rao Anwar demanded

TIMERGARA: The Wardak tribe of Pukhtun nationality on Sunday demanded of the government to take practical steps for bringing back the killer of Naqeebullah Mehsud through Interpol so that the victim tribe felt justice. Elders of the tribe while speaking at a news conference at the Timergara press club here expressed firm determination to unite people from Wardak tribe residing in all parts of the country with the sole aim of persuading them towards peace and education and to remove a sense of deprivation among the tribesmen.

Speaking at a news conference at Timergara press club Mir Qasim Wardak from Balochistan, advocate Ahmad Riaz Wardak from Timergara, Attaullah Khan Wardak from Maidan and Muhammad Ilyas Wardak said the tribesmen should feel proud of being Wardak as they had a bright history of bravery and courage and they would always be at the front line to defend Pakistan.

“We are here to organize the scattered tribesmen for strengthening inter-relation and resolution of social problems being faced by them,” they said, adding the tribe had planned to hold workers’ convention on district level and then announce its central, provincial and district organizations throughout Pakistan and to select chief of Wardag tribe Pakistan at the end.

They made it clear that the organization of Wardak had nothing to do with politics and it would be a non-political and impartial unity of the tribe.

The leaders of Wardak tribe appreciated the government’s decision of extending the jurisdiction of Supreme Court to Fata. They demanded of the government to bring Rao Anwar, the killer of Naqeebullah Mehsud back to the country through Interpol so that justice could be done in the case of Naqeebullah Mehsood.
