UAE announces new entry permit fees for “Golden Visa”

ABU DHABI: United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities have announced new entry permit fees for those applying for the country’s 10-year golden visa.

According to a report published in the Arab daily Al-Khalij, the Authority of Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has revised the price of a six-month entry permit to 1,250 dirhams.

The authority has said that these fees included a fee of 1,000 dirhams, 100 dirhams for smart services, 28 dirhams for electronic services and 22 dirhams for ICP.

As per the announcement, when applying for an entry permit, Golden Visa applicants must submit a number of documents including a passport, colour photograph and proof of eligibility.

Investors, businessmen, skilled individuals, scholars, high school and graduates of recognized universities graduates, and frontline heroes will be considered eligible individuals for long-term residency in the UAE.
