F.P. Report

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Monday handed over senior PTI leader and former Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid to the police on three-day physical remand.

The PTI leader was produced in the court in connection with Jinnah House attack case.

As the investigative officer sought physical remand during the court proceedings a medical report of Dr Yasmin Rashid was also submitted. To which the investigator said she had been discharged from the Services Hospital and according to hospital’s report her blood pressure is now normal.

Former Punjab Advocate General Awais Ahmad represented Yasmin Rashid in the court, arguing against approving her physical remand on medical grounds.

The court, however, handed her over to the police on three-day physical remand.
