BUNER: Provincial President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Hamayun Khan has said Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto formed the political party with the aim to empower the masses and struggle for the rights of the poor people.
This he said while addressing to political gathering at Katta Koot village of Buner district. On the occasion more than two hundred political workers of different parties have formally announced joining the PPP.
PPP Provincial President Hamayun Khan in his detail speech remembered the old gold era of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who was decided to form own party with a vision of masses empowerment. He further said the strong status of nuclear Pakistan was the vision of Shaheed who was pioneer of that program and was convened the first Islamic countries heads conference in Islamabad.
Shaheed Z.A. Bhutto was the man behind agreed constitution and introduced the democratic system in the country and even embraced Shahadaat at the hands of dictator but never surrendered nor utilized the option to live in exile, he added. Khan added that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is moving on the same path of grandfather and great mother.
Mian Nawaz Sharif government in center and the Imran Khan government in KP were badly failed to deliver in the better interest of masses, he criticized. He further added that PPP introduced Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) for the poor womenfolk and promised induction every woman in the future plane.
He promised of revival of the Bhutto’s era when the country was protected, economy was strong, masses were happy and all were running smoothly. He asked the party activists to shun their petty differences and forge unity among ranks and spread the party message door to door so as to make sure return of the PPP into the power corridor in the upcoming general elections of 2018.
Malakand Division President, Dr. Afsar-ul-Mulk Khan, Buner Chapter President Advocate Jowhar Ali Khan and general Secretary Javeed Iqbal Khan also spoke on the occasion. In the political gathering the prominent elders of the area including Javid Khan, Bakhti Rokhan, Khan Rokhan, Aleem Shah, Bakht Rullah, Javid Ali, Noorul Haq and many others announced their joining in PPP. The activists from Chamla accorded warm welcome to party KP, Divisional and District leaders at Ambela chowk and brought them to the gathering in a procession of motorcades.
