Over 300 workers join ANP in Dir

TIMERGARA: More than 300 citizens affiliated with different political parties in Bandagai Talash village on Saturday promised the Awami National Party central spokesman and party candidate for NA-34 Dir Zahid Khan to collectively join the ANP if they were provided with Sui gas facility.

They made the announcement during a function held at the hujra of the JI former councilor Muzafar Said. Almost all the elders from different ‘Biradaris’ and political parties attended the function. The villagers led by Muzafar Said from the JI, Miftah ud Din from the JUI-F, Javid Khan from the PTI, Qadeer Ahmad and Bashir Ahmad from the PPP announced that all the families in Bandagai village council would join the ANP and hoist its red flags on their houses if gas facility was provided to them before the upcoming general election. A former tehsil councilor Azam Khan of the PPP also announced to join the ANP.

Addressing the function the ANP spokesman Zahid Khan said that it was his party that provided gas to dozens of areas in Lower Dir despite the fact that they were not in power.
