He was addressing a workers’ gathering at Ganjla in Rabat as chief guest here the other day while the ANP senior vice president Hussain Shah Yousafzai, district general secretary Malik Muhammad Zeb, Tehsil chairman candidate in Balambat Muhammad Ayub Khan and others also spoke.
Several political activists including Dr Umar Daraz, Momin Said, Dilawar Said, Mukaram Said, Jan Wahid, Muhammad Israr, Syed Bacha, Noor ul Islam, Jabbar Khan, Muhammad Shehzad, Abu Bakar, Umar Zada and others announced to quit their parties and join the ANP along with their families.
Zahid Khan termed the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Lower Dir a big failure and said that people from several districts through the administration and police were gathered. He said the PTI chief did not announce any development scheme for the local people and disappointed not only the masses but also the PTI own workers. The ANP leader claimed that terrorists were regrouping in parts of the country and the government had no capability to stop a fresh wave of militancy.
