MINGORA: The residents of Tehsil Matta of Swat said that illegal cutting of forestation was continue in Tehsil Matta of Swat but unfortunately the forest department kept their silence over it.
They said this while talking to media persons on Wednesday. They added that despite the high claims of provincial government of stopping the illegal cutting and initiating Billion Tree Tsunami project but in reality they are doing nothing for the prevention of illegal forest cutting in the area.
They demanded from the forest department to take concrete steps for stopping the illegal forest cutting in the area.
