KHANPUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the incumbent government will go before its time and election should take place soon.

PTI chief expressed his views while talking to media in Khanpur.

The cricketer-turned-politician made predictions that the incumbent government would not be able to finish its term and would go home before its time. “This government can go before its time since there are many people within PML-N who do not want to see Nawaz Sharif use the party to save his own corruption,” he said.

Imran Khan has demanded that elections should be conducted within 90 days if PML-N government is ended. He said that since there are many who are not happy with Nawaz Sharif or the party, the government can fall since it would then not be left with the required numbers.

“If the government falls then we will demand elections within 90 days,” he said. “There are two laws, one that states that election should be held within 90 days and another according to which first delimitation would be held and then the country will go to the polls,” he said.

However, Imran said that according to him, election in the country should not be delayed at any cost.

Imran Khan has claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders are parting ways from Nawaz Sharif, and the government is therefore likely to dissolve before time.

Imran Khan also talked about environment and said lives of people in Punjab are in danger due to pollution. PTI chief said we now have to determine where to create make buildings and where to keep fields and forests.

He claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has planted 1.18 billion trees which no other government could do, and added that the government is fighting against timber mafia as well.

Pakistan can earn enough money through tourism that there will be no need to take loans, affirmed Imran.
