JI celebrates Mushtaq’s wins

TIMERGARA: The Jamaat-i-Islami Lower Dir chapter and its lawmakers expressed pleasure on election of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan as member of the senate and said the party lawmakers proved that money did not matter for them. The JI arranged a dinner for local journalists here with Lower Dir nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan in the chair.

The JI lawmakers Izaz ul Mulk Afkari, Saeed Gul, tehsil emir Malik Sher Bahadar Khan, Timergara tehsil nazim Riaz Muhammad, district secretary information Arshad Zaman, Shuib Ahmad and others while speaking on the occasion termed the election of JI provincial chief Mushtaq Ahmad Khan a great success. They said Mushtaq Ahmad would represent the entire province in the senate as he had leadership qualities and sympathies for common people.

The JI lawmakers Saeed Gul and Izaz ul Mulk said they were too offered millions of rupees during the senate election but they turned it down strictly. They said that no one was able to purchase their vote and demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakitan to take suo motu notice against the alleged vote bargaining during the senate election. Meanwhile the Samar Bagh tehsil nazim Saeed Ahmad Bacha while talking to local journalists said the election of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan as senator showed the JI unity, commitment and party strict discipline. He said the newly elected senator would play active role to represent the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a better way.
