Kuwaiti officers trained at ANF Academy: DG ANF witness conduct of training

ISLAMABAD: Anti Narcotics Force Academy is playing a very significant role as a centre for excellence for Drug Law Enforcement training in the region. Recently, 2nd badge of foreigner trainees, officers from Kuwaiti Drug Law Enforcement Agency are undergoing counter-narcotics training at this institution. Previously, similar training was also imparted to 4 Maldivian officers and 6 Kuwaiti officers. This training initiative is contributing very effectively in strengthening counter-narcotics relations not only within the region but also at international and global level.

Director General Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan Major General Muhammad Arif Malik HI(M) expressed that the scope of this training will be extended to various other friendly countries so that war against drugs be fought effectively at all ends. The initiative of Pakistan to establish a centre for excellence in drug law enforcement training is being appreciated widely by United Nations, other international organizations and a lot of countries.

DG ANF Major General Muhammad Arif Malik HI(M) further highlighted that ANF is endeavoring hard to upgrade the infrastructure, equipments and other facilities at ANF Academy to make it in par with other international institutions and coop it with emerging trends. ANF Academy is also meeting the training needs of ANF and all other relevant Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan with respect to counter-narcotic trainings.
