PHC to hear writs against civilian’s trail in military’s court on 11th July

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Musart Hilali has accepted petition for early hearing against trail of accused involved in 9th &10th May vandalism in Military Courts and fixed for hearing on 11th July, on Tuesday.

The counsel Ali Zaman Ottomankhel advocate informed that petitioners were arrested for their alleged involvement in 9th& 10th May vandalism while imposed sections under Pakistan Army Act 1952.

PHC has been approached against trail at Military Courts under Pakistan Army Act 1952 against civilians but it is fixed for hearing on 24th August and petitioners are behind the bars uncommitted offenses while requested for early hearing, the counsel argued.

Chief Justice PHC Justice Musart Hilali accepted early hearing plea and fixed hearing on 11th July of PTI’s workers to be trail in Military courts.

Meanwhile, A divisional bench of Peshawar High Court (PHC) comprised of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Shakeel Ahmad ordered to submit record of cases registered against former Federal State’s Minister Ali Muhammad Khan, on Tuesday.

The counsel Ali Zaman advocate argued that Ali Muhammad Khan was rearrested multiple times following release on bail and added that petitioner didn’t aware regarding number and nature FIRs registered against him.

The lawyer requested for provision of FIRs record for approaching court to obtain bails and initiate proceedings in the cases before court of law while requested Peshawar High Court to grant bail in all cases.

However, PHC has ordered Advocate General to submit record of FIRs against Ali Muhammad Khan while adjourned hearing for today (Wednesday).
