JAMRUD: Tribesmen have been kept ignorant deliberately although they are aware as like other masses of the country. From day one, Pakistan People Party (PPP) has been advocacy for the rights of the tribal.
These views were expressed by President FATA, female wing Dr Saima while addressing to press conference in Jamrud press club.
Flanked by President PPP Khyber Agency, Hazrat Wali Afridi, Dr Saima said that from the creation of Pakistan, the tribesmen were ignorant in spite of the fact that they had been played their due role for the sake of the country.
“PPP is the lonely political party of the country that raises voice for the rights of the tribal and key political reforms including extension of political parties Act has been extended in the tenure of PPP government”.
She vowed that they would leave no stone unturned to work for the welfare of the female tribal community.
Prior to it, for the first time ever in FATA convention of tribal female workers of PPP was held here in Jamrud on Sunday that was attended by number of tribal women. In the moot Jamaima Afridi was elected as President of female wing of Khyber Agency chapter.
