Aleem Khan announces to join Jahangir Tareen Group

LAHORE: Abdul Aleem Khan formally announced joining the Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) Group aimed to unite all the alienated members and groups of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday.

According to reports, Aleem Khan attended the group meeting at the residence of the group leader Jahangir Tareen at Model Town.

In the meeting, Punjab Minister for Communications Sardar Asif Nikai and Rafaqat Ali Gilani MPA also participated.

After the meeting, Aleem Khan addressed the media and said he did not join Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party PTI for getting the chief ministership.

 He said he has better cars and aeroplanes from the Punjab Chief Minister in use so he has no greed for such posts.

He said he wanted to unite all the annoyed groups of the PTI who have paid their services and made struggled for the slogan of ‘New Pakistan’ in the past but was ignored.

He also said JKT was one of the most important faces at the beginning of Imran led government but surprisingly he was ignored by the PM without explaining the reason.

Addressing the media, Noman Langrial said the health of the JKT is better now and he will return to Pakistan in the next two to four days.

Saeed Nawani told the media that they held this meeting for consultation on current issues under the command of the group leader JKT.

Aun Chaudhry, Salman Naeem, Lala Tahir Randhawa, Noman Langarial, Khurram Leghari, Ajmal Cheema, Abdul Hai Dasti, Aslam Bharwana, Saeed Khan Nawani, Zawar Hassan, Bilal Warraich, Iftikhar Gondal, Amin Chaudhry, Ghulam Singha and Qasim Linga also attended the meeting.
